Malta is taking another step forward in the Crypto world. With Crypto Laws passed through Parliament, Malta is the first country in the world to have a comprehensive legal framework that supports the DLT ecosystem.
The Maltese parliament in a landmark move has officially ushered in three bills that are targeted towards regulating the nation’s growing cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. The three newly approved legislative acts are – Malta Digital Innovation Authority Act, the Innovative Technological Arrangement and Services Act, and the Virtual Financial Asset Act.
Besides making Malta one of the most favorable locations for setting up a blockchain enterprise, Parliamentary Secretary for Digital innovation and Finance Silvio Schembri foresees that blockchain and cryptocurrencies “will be the mainstay of Malta’s economic growth for the next 4-5 years.”
Now Malta comes with the latest bitcoin cash machine. With this machine it is possible to exchange your bitcoin for euros but also vice versa. The machine can not only be found in Malta but has even been developed in Malta.
The company that developed the machine is a partnership between Leon Siegmund, crypto analyst and businessman Jonas Abrahamson. This company called Moon Zebra aims to make the crypto world much more accessible for the public.
Siegmund is very enthusiastic about the new bitcoin cash machine, he does not think it’s the newest surprising invention, but he does hope that it makes people interested in cryptocurrency.
